Find out more about the warning, why it pops up, and how to troubleshoot it.
Once powered, WingtraOne computes its 3D position. During the preflight check, the drone's altitude is compared with the altitude from the elevation model running behind WingtraPilot. In case there is a mismatch and the magnitude is above the threshold, the system will throw a warning.
To troubleshoot the issue please do the following:
- repower the drone and make sure there are no obstacles on the horizon so it can compute its position properly
- turn off the drone move it to another location and turn on
If the warning pops up again follow the troubleshooting guide.
In case the troubleshooting ends with the following warning
the terrain data running behind WingtraPilot might be inaccurate, which could make the flight unsafe and lead to an incident. In such cases, it is highly recommended to switch to custom elevation data. How to import custom elevation data, please check here.
The drone maintains the programmed altitude regardless of the initial elevation difference reported.
By ignoring the warning and proceeding with the flight, the pilot takes full responsibility for the safety of the flight. All incidents caused by terrain data mismatch will not be treated as warranty cases.
