Move the RGB61 camera into a new mount

Learn how to remove the RGB61 camera from the mount and move it into a new one.

WingtraOne,  New mount, 2 mm Allen key, TX10 75 mm Torx screwdriver

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Remove the RGB61 camera attached to the mount from WingtraOne GEN II

  • Power off the drone and lay it down on a flat surface, e.g., a table
  • Open the top cover
  • Unplug the universal payload connector (USB-C) by pulling the cable out

  • Use the Torx screwdriver to open the four screws in each corner of the payload area
  • Pull out the camera mount assembly

Step 2: Remove the RGB61 camera from the mount

  • Use the Allen key or the Torx screwdriver to unscrew the four screws in each corner of the mount

  • Remove the screws and lift the camera out of the mount

 

Please make sure not to lose the screws

Step 3: Place the RGB61 camera into the new mount

  • Place the camera into the mount making sure that the holes on the camera and the holes on the mount are aligned
  • Insert the screws into the holes and use the Allen key to tighten the four screws that fix the camera onto the mount

Step 4: Place the RGB 61 camera attached to the new mount into WIngtraOne GEN II

  • Use the Torx screwdriver to tighten the four screws in the four corners of the payload area. Make sure you don't overtighten them (maximum torque 0.4 Nm - use two fingers tightness).
  • Plug the USB-C universal payload connector into the drone.
  • Close the top cover.
  • Do a test flight. Before the flight, double-check that all the cables are connected firmly. If any issues with the camera appear, please contact Wingtra Support
