Update WingtraHub

You will profit from software updates Wingtra provides for WingtraHub. Once a new update is available, WingtraHub will inform you when connected to the Internet. To enable the latest software improvements, please follow the instructions below to update your WingtraHub.

The updating process consists of two main steps

  • Download latest release
  • Update WingtraHub

Step 1: Download latest release

  • Start WingtraHub
  • Click on "Settings" and then select the "Update" tab
  • On the left side, you will see the information about the latest release and the notification that this release hasn't been downloaded yet. Using the drop-down menu, you can also take a look at the release information from earlier releases
  • On the right side, click on "Download latest release vX.Y.Z" to start the download of the latest release. Make sure you are connected to the Internet
  • Wait until the top progress bar is full and you see "Download complete." If the download does not complete within five minutes, close WingtraHub and try again
  • You can now continue with the WingtraHub update

Step 2: Update WingtraHub

  • Click on "Update WingtraHub to release Version vX.Y.Z"
  • Follow the installer. You may grant the permission to install an application from an unknown source
  • WingtraHub will stop during the installation. You will be asked if you want to launch it again after update was successful

The latest WingtraHub version might not correspond exactly to the latest software version of your WingtraOne and WingtraPilot. This is because Wingtra will on occasion release patches in-between major software releases.

When a patch is released, Wingtra increments the last number, i.e. the 'Z' in vX.Y.Z. You might notice that the Z value differs between WingtraPilot and WingtraHub depending on what has been patched.

Most importantly, you will always be notified in both WingtraPilot and/or WingtraHub when a new update is available. We strongly recommend that you use the latest version of WingtraHub.

Troubleshooting

How can I uninstall WingtraHub

  • Press Windows key + S on keyboard
  • Type control panel
  • Click on Programs -> Uninstall a program
  • Right click on WingtraHub and select uninstall/change
