How to access the WingtraRAY FMU & FTS SD Cards

This article shows how to access and retrieve log files from the WingtraRAY FMU & FTS cards when needed for log analysis.

How to access the FMU & FTS SD Cards:

  1. Make sure the WingtraRAY is unpowered and no batteries are plugged in

  2. Remove the two screws located on the sides of the front panel when viewing the WingtraRAY power bay(do not immediately pull at the front panel afterwards, it is connected via a cable to the electronics)

  3. Gently remove the front panel to reveal the electronics stack. The FMU SD card is marked in green below.

    1. The FTS card is immediately to the left( or right depending on the user's view) of the FMU SD card highlighted in green seen below.

  4. Retrieve the requested MicroSD card and connect to the computer using an SD card reader.

Retrieve the requested log files

  1. Once connected with the SD Card reader, please access your respective file explorer program.
  2. Navigate to the SD Card drive 
  3. Copy all folders from the respective SD Cards
  4. Place the data into a Zipped folder
  5. Upload the zipped folder to Wingtra.Wetransfer.com
  6. Eject the MicroSD card from the SD card reader and ensure to reinsert into the correct slot within the WingtraRAY

  7. Once the SD card is re-inserted, make sure to line up the inserts (Highlighted in red above) and screw the two front panel screws
