# Exchange the QX1 lenses

## Learn how to switch between the 20mm and the 15mm lens on the QX1 camera

### **Step-by-step instructions**

#### Step 1 Remove the QX1 camera from the mount

| ![mount-2](https://knowledge.wingtra.com/hs-fs/hubfs/mount-2.jpg?width=688&name=mount-2.jpg) | - Remove the security ring that holds the camera in the mount by clicking the PUSH to release mechanism. - Remove the dummy battery from the battery compartment. - Unplug the micro USB connector. - Gently push the camera from the outside to remove it from the mount. |

#### Step 2 Remove the 20mm lens from the QX1 camera

#### Step 3 Attach the 15mm lens to the QX1 camera

| ![20200601\_152414](https://knowledge.wingtra.com/hs-fs/hubfs/20200601_152414.jpg?width=688&name=20200601_152414.jpg) | - Gently insert the 15 mm lens inside the camera and rotate it clockwise until you hear the click which indicates that the lens is correctly mounted to the camera. |

#### Step 4 Place the QX1 with the 15 mm lens into the mount
