Wingtra Blu software updates, from v2.5.0-b.4 to v2.10.2-b.1
This article explains how to install a firmware update that resolves WingtraPilot issues that started to occur on the whole fleet from March 2, 2023.
Note: Please follow these instructions only if you are an existing BLU customer running SW v2.5.0-b.4.
To update your Blue UAS compliant drone from the previous firmware version v2.5.0-b.4 to the version, v2.11.2-b.1, follow these steps:
- In case you have used the temporary workaround of setting the tablet clock to a date prior to March 2, 2023, make sure the date is set correctly again.
- For this update, use these update binaries: WingtraPilot_v2.10.2-b.1.APK, recovery_wingtra.SH and wingtra_recovery_resource.TAR.
- Put the recovery_wingtra.SH and wingtra_recovery_resource.TAR file onto the Camera SD card.
- Put the SD card back into the camera.
- Make sure the ground telemetry module is not connected to the tablet.
- Power up the drone.
- Update WingtraPilot on the tablet with the WingtraPilot_v2.10.2-b.1.APK file.
- Plug the telemetry module into the tablet to connect to the WingtraOne. A dialog should inform you that the WingtraOne was successfully updated. Note that this step can take a few minutes.
- Finally, update to the latest blue approved versionSW 2.11.2-b.1 with instructions here.
